About SRC

Purpose

Syria Reporting Center (SRC) is an independent, non-profit organization founded in 2018 committed to documenting and preserving records of human rights violations in Syria, with the goal of building a future based on justice, restoration of civic trust, and the rule of law.

Leveraging its extensive on-the-ground presence, network, and advanced research methods, the organization provides meticulous intelligence on the hierarchical structures, key individuals, and operations within various armed groups, including both military and militia forces.
Through its work not only in exposing human rights abuses but also in mapping and attributing responsibility for these violations, SRC ensures that accurate and reliable data and evidence is available to accountability mechanisms at the level of governments and internationally mandated bodies.
